Middle White Piglets Arrive
(February 25, 2013)Poppit has produced another beautiful litter of Middle White Piglets. She started building her nest in the late afternoon on 13/2/13. This took quite a while and had to be changed several times before it was acceptable! (Not that we could see any difference from when she started it). Anyway she was happy and she settled down to have her piglets. As expected this took all evening and we finally made it to bed at 1am. She did a fantastic job and was quite happy for us to deal with the piglets as they were born. She is a superb mother and all 10 (7 boars & 3 Gilts) are doing extremely well.
